Twin babies Xena & Xenia
Due to certain health issues, I was told I couldn't have children or that a pregnancy would be risky. I went for test after test. A week after my final results, I met someone online, who was also dragged down by life, who gave up on love. A month later I met him in person, 2 months later he asked me to marry him! He believed that all was going to be well, yet I wasn't sure. He married me even though he knew we wont have kids of our own, but he had a 3yr old daughter, so it was fine.
A few months later we found out I was pregnant, but were excited and scared at the same time. as if it wasn't bad enough, my husband, his daughter & I were involved in an accident. I had to go for a scan to see if the baby was ok, but then we found out that it was twins!
We didn't tell any of the family until I was 4 months pregnant. We were so scared for my heart and the pressure of twins. Throughout this twin pregnancy, I had no morning sickness, no back aches, no heart problems, no high blood pressure!
I went for a normal checkup 1 day, at 38wks. I was already 3cm dilated and in active labour, but I couldn't feel any contractions. Doctores had to feel whenever I had contractions, coz I couldn't!
2am the next morning drs cut my water. still no pain. eventually I was taken to theatre. At 7:14 I gave normal birth to Xena Jordan, with no epidural! 5 minutes later, Xenia Jayden was born. both of them came into the world quietly, thumb in the mouth!
Doctors told me it's the first time they experienced something like that. It seemed that the pressure of the weight of the girls numbed out the pain! I went for more checkups and to this day, I'm healthy. my girls will be a year next month.
