by Jen
(Dearborn, MI, US)

I am 19 Weeks Pregnant with twins. This is my first pregnancy. I have not felt the babies move at all... I'm worried... should I be? My doc appt is on Monday but I was wondering if anyone had advice. Thanks

You're not alone
by: Alaina

I am also 19 weeks along with twins. This is my 2nd pregnancy as I miscarried my first. I felt the babies move at 15 weeks but they were flutter movements. However, at 19 weeks, I still have not felt the kicks. I have the same concerns but will give it a couple more weeks. I will definitely bring it up at the next doc's appt in 2 weeks if I still don't feel movements.

I had the same exact question
by: Christina

Hey just wanted to let you know that I'm at just about 19 weeks and this is my first pregancy and I was wondering the same exact thing. It seems like we are at that turning point where it could happen any moment. So guess we just have to be patient and we'll feel it sometime in the next few weeks :) You aren't alone :)

I was about 21 - 22wks. when I felt my baby girls move for the first time and was sure thats what it actually was and not gas.lol. Don't worry it'll happen in no time! Its absolutely amazing and well worth the wait.

It really depends
by: Brenda

It really depends on the pregnancy. With the twins I felt them move around 18-21 weeks. With my singletons I felt them move around 16-18 weeks.

You wont feel a huge movement. It will feel like gas or butterflies.

22 Weeks

I was at 22 weeks when I felt them move. I thought I have felt them move before, but knew for sure that time that they had moved. They didn't move like I though they would, possibly because there were 2 in there.

It all depends on the individual like your build also if it is your first pregnancy you tend not to feel them as early as if it were your second there are other factors like where the placenta is if it is in the front it will cushion the kicks also the baby could be facing your back so dont worry it is still on the early side of feeling movement !
