Not weight, health...
by: RC

My hospital goes by vitals instead of weight. I know of someone who took their triplets all home by 4.25 lbs from there. They seem to like to see the babies at 5lbs or over generally though, mine were 5.10 and 5.14

Twin Birth Weight
by: Ambrojah

In moat NICU'a its not the weight that matters its the status and gestational age pof your Twins. My Twin Boys arrived at 35 weeks 1 day and were 4#7 oz and 4# 9 oz. They only spent a week in house and their discharge was based on the ability to gain weight, maintain body temperature and eat.

Depends...
by: Shelly Cunningham

At our hospital they valued the gestational age over the size of the baby. My smallest twin was 4lbs. 6 oz, at birth and had lost a few ounces on day three, when we were heading home. But since I had stayed pregnant to the 37th week and he was doing fine, they let us take him home.
