What are the chances of my having twins?

My mum is an identical twin and so are my cousins and great aunts and it goes further back and also my partner is also a identical twin so I was wondering does this mean that it is almost certain me and my partner will have twins?.

I say your chances are pretty high. I'm the only non-twin in my family (All my siblings are twins and my parents are each a twin) and I am pregnant with twins. Good Luck!

"They" say that chances of having identical twins is random, with no rhyme or reason for the twinning. That it is just a random "freak" occurance. However, you do seem to have a lot of it in your family.....who knows?
