I went in for an ultrasound yesterday at a third party cheapo ultrasound place because my husband has been SWEARING that this is twins. Well sure enough, there were two blobs in there. But only one had a heartbeat. The other one was slightly smaller with no heartbeat. My midwife said that it could be a smaller twin that doesn't have a visible heartbeat yet. I was 7 weeks, 4 days at this ultrasound. The bottom blob did not have a heartbeat.
