While some may think of just firing off an impersonal email to announce the twin arrivals, sending out birth announcement cards brings a smile to your friends and family. Receiving good news in the mail with a unique touch or adorable photo will be the first thing they open when they pick up the mail.

By sending out a photo announcement you are preserving the date of your twin's arrival and can be sure it will end up on fridges and in scrapbooks of family and friends everywhere. Having twins will allow for some fantastic photo opportunities as well. Twin pregnancies often carry more worries and can result in premature twins so by choosing to send out Personalized Birth Announcements you are letting the world know that all is well and the babies have arrived safely!

Wording Considerations for Twins Birth Anouncements

You'll want to include basic information on the cards such as the height and weight of each twins. You may wish to comment if your babies arrived early by saying so, or indicating the number of weeks gestation they were born at. Most people who receive these announcements will be aware of this anyway. If you are waiting to choose names, then indicate when and where that will happen (ie a christening ceremony).

Giving birth to twins is an event you'll never forget. It will change your lives from there on and being such a special event, it does deserve to be marked and remembered in a special way. Sending twins birth announcements to friends, family, co-workers and those who attended your twin baby shower are a wonderful way to do this.
