Twin Tummy Time

We're doing tummy time!

We're doing tummy time!

My husband and I had been married for 4 years and were ready to start a family. Our first pregnancy ended 4 days after we learned we were pregnant in a miscarraige. We were obviously heart-broken but decided to try again after some time had passed. We got pregnant pretty quickly again only to find out at 8 weeks that we were pregnant with twins. We were blessed with the best, most problem-free pregnancy we could've asked for. I carried our sweet babies (a boy, Noah and a girl, Raylyn) to 37 weeks 2 days and they were born on St. Patrick's Day 2009. They were healthy enough to go to the regular nursery and went home with Mommy and Daddy 4 short days after their birth. They are now 15 weeks old and doing just great. The past 3 months has been a rollercoaster. The first 3 weeks of taking care of them was probably the hardest thing I've ever done, but it was so worth it. They have totally taken our hearts and we feel so blessed and honored to be their parents. They are the loves of our life and we couldn't have asked for more!

so precious

Our twin girls were born on March 22 at 37 weeks so they are so close in age to yours and were tiny but healthy. No NICU for us either and we went home with 3lb 8oz and 5lb 1oz babies! It was a little frightening having such small babies and I agree, those early weeks were the hardest time in our lives as well. But they are growing so much now and are still totally healthy! congrats on your darling duo!
