raising twins

Twin terrible 2s at the age of 3!!!!

Hello,
My name is Sobian this is the first time I have been on
site and I have found it very helpful and interesting. Also
comforting that there are so many other mums like me.(also with twin skin!!!)

I have 3 year old identical twin girls called Izzabel and Jessana.
They are normally very well behaved, polite and very affectionate
towards everyone especially me.
but over the last few weeks they have turned into little monsters!!!!

Arguing with each other, pushing, throwing toys, having tantrums screaming, refusing to walk and wanting to be carried all
the time (which is very difficlt to carry two three year olds
plus bags! at the same time)
I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall!! the girls do not listen
to a thing I say, I have to ask something about 5 times before I even get acknowledged .I've tried taking away toys, sweets, not letting
them see nanny and grandad until they behave etc.. and I've also
tried the opposite and ignoring the bad behaviour and
rewarding the good but that doesn't seem to work either.

Also they've suddenly decided that they don't want me as their "mummy"
anymore and are constantly telling me to go away.
so not only am I exhausted from the constant screaming, not going
to bed and general naughtiness of my little monsters!! but feeling
a little down about my girls saying these mean words to me constantly
whats happened to my little princess? Please help!!!!
what else can I try?

thank you for listening/reading!

sobian xx
