Cry It Out
by: Anonymous

I also have 8 month old twins and recently I was going back and forth with them until 3 in the morning, something had to change. So my husband and I did the Ferber method, where you let them cry for a per determined amount of time and then go in and reassure them, but leave after a minute (don't pick them up). It took about 4 or 5 nights, but now they go to bed on their own and if they wake up in the middle of the night they know how to go back to sleep on their own. I'm often by myself so it has really made a world of a difference for me.

Get rid of dummies + try controlled crying
by: Jes Breslaw

Hi, our twin girls were waking every 15 mins at 7 1/2 months. We realised they were waking up for us to put their dummies (pacifyers) back in their mouths. We also tried a bit of controlled crying and only took 3 days. They stil wake up once or twice in the night(now 15 months) but loads better. Good Luck

Sleep
by: Kristin

Hi there Brittany! Our girls will e 8 months on the 4th of Novemeber and we too are having sleep problems. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone! I know for us, the girls are teething and growing and it is making it difficult for them to stay asleep. My suggestion would be to stick to a routine, consistency is key. For ex: every night the girls eat dinner at 5:00, they play until 6:30, we diaper and change them into jammies, they get time with Daddy, I nurse them and they are in bed by 7:00ish. Although they are not sleeping through the night, we stick to this routine.

Good Luck fellow twin mommy!
