Twin pregnancy contractions at 32 weeks

Today I am 32 weeks and 4 days pregnant with twins, I was told my cervix is closed but I'm 50% effaced, my doctor also performed a fetal fibronectrin test. both babies are head down I am experiencing 2-3 contractions an hour with lots of pressure. What does all this mean it is my fourth pregnancy but first time I have experienced this.
