Twin birth weights?

I gave birth to two singleton babies (healthy pregnancies, no complications) babies where just small. First baby was 5lbs 6 oz. second baby was 6 lbs. 11 oz. Now I am expecting twins. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who have given birth previously to low birth weight babies (singleton or twins) and then given birth to healthy normal weight twins? What is considered normal weight for twins?

I had my first daughter at 37 weeks and she was 7lb 11oz and 21 inches. I had my twins at 35 weeks they were 5 lb 7oz and 4 lb 1oz both 18 inches long.I think it just depend how long you keep them baking inside. When Me and my twin was born at 30 weeks I was 1 lb 4 oz and my twin was 2 lb 11oz.

I gave birth to my twins at 36 weeks and he was 5lbs and 9oz and she was 4lbs and 15oz. The doctors were not consered at all. So yes I just think it is how far you go. Right now they are 17 weeks and they weigh about 13 lbs each:) Happy and Health!

Weights
by: Brenda

I have had two singleton births and a twins birth.

My singletons were 7lbs 13oz and 7lbs 10 oz. With the twins it was 7lbs 3 oz and 6lbs 6oz. I really just think it depends on how far along you go and your nutrition during pregnancy. Make sure you eat healthy and go as far as you can with the twin pregnancy.

Congrats on your twin pregnancy!

Birth Weights

I'm not sure what the average weights are for twins, it depends on when they are born (gestational age). Our girls were born at 38+2 weeks and both weighed 6lbs 2ozs and were 19in long.
