Twin Babies Moving - how early can you feel it?

by Jessica
(North Dakota)

I'm only 15 weeks pregnant with twins. When I am relaxing I can feel a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen. When I rub it, it's hard. I'm assuming it's the babies but I never had that sensation with my firstborn. Would I be right in that assumption? Are they already moving and that big that I can feel them?

Feeling baby move
by: Anonymous

I'm 13 weeks pregnant with twins. I've been feeling them move since 9 weeks. The hard feeling low in your belly is your uterus. If you continue feeling upwards towards your belly button, you will feel where the top of your uterus is up to (known as fundal height).
In a singleton pregnancy, this roughly approximates the number of weeks pregnant, with belly button height being approximately 20 weeks.
