Twin babies Maxime & Amelie at 5 weeks old

Being a twin I always wanted to have twins myself as, lets face it, you always have someone to play with your age when family decided to go on vacation! Well I had a son first and decided 8 months late to try for another in close succession so that they can be close enough to twins in age that I can handle.

Well I got pregnant and from the minute I realized I was pregnant, I had a hunch I was going to have twins. In both the first and second scan the doctor only saw one sac and one heartbeat. I kept on asking if there was a second one in there. My doctor kept on saying there was no way there were two. Well on the third scan right when he was finishing the scan he moved the wand to the side and happens to see another head. I knew it!

They are now 4 months old and such wonderful babies with such different characters. I am so happy that I had the chance to have twins and look forward to each stage of development.

My little guy Maxime is the best natured little boy and my daughter Amelie is such a little drama queen but such a cutie. Yes it is not easy when having a 16 month older boy than the twins but I wouldn't change it for anything!
