Triplets & Then Twins

I have two sets of twins. The first set was originally triplets born at 27 weeks September 26, 2007. They were in the NICU for two months. One passed within a month time frame due to low birth weight. Her name was Layla and she weighed 1lb 2oz. Her brother name is Javon and her sister name is Kayla. Javon weighed in at 2lbs 3oz and Kayla weighed in at 2lbs 6oz. They are about to turn 2 years old in a couple of weeks. They are just now starting the hitting, the pushing, and the selfish stage, though they do understand when I say "share". It hasn't been a hard road for me as I was a teenage mother of two. Thankfully I have my husband and family support.

May 1, 2009 along came another set of twins! Jeremiah and Joshua is what I call them! Both sets were naturally conceived. They were born at 35 weeks and 6 days, pretty much full term. Thank the Lord himself! Jeremiah weighed in at 4lbs 12oz and Joshua weighed in at 5lbs 7oz but as healthy as can be. They didn't have any extra stay in the hospital and both came home when I came home. They will soon be turning 4 months old. At this stage they don't really notice each other, but I am patiently waiting until they do because my first set of twins didn't notice each other until they were well past 1 yr of age.

I enjoy being the mother of 2 sets of twins. I love all the attention we get whenever we go somewhere in public. Thanks to the help of my family and husband I am able to stay sane! It is a blessing and I am thankful for both sets!
