Sleeping twin baby angels

I found out I was having twins at 8 weeks after an emergency room visit due to bleeding. After reading about twins in so many different places, I was terrified about all the different things that could go wrong. I was afraid of vanishing twin syndrome and prematurity. I was on edge almost my entire twin pregnancy... and the worst thing that went wrong was that I had gestational diabetes. I delivered my boys at 38 weeks 2 days, and that was by induction... I could've gone longer. I was also blessed enough to not even need a c-section. I couldn't have asked for a better first pregnancy!

The past 9 weeks with my little guys has been such a blessing. Joey and Jimmy are such good babies. Yes, there are some nights where sleep just isn't in the cards for us, but those nights are few and tolerable.

This picture was taken one afternoon. They had just finished eating and they were fussing a little bit, fighting off the afternoon nap time. So after some rocking and butt patting, I still couldn't calm either one down alone, so I decided to lay them next to each other (they sleep in separate cribs now) and they both passed right out! I went upstairs to wash some dishes and bottles, and came back downstairs, I found them lying like this!
