My fiance and I went to my first ultrasound at about 3 months. I couldn't see the screen while the nurse was taking measurements, but he could. All of a sudden my fiance asks in disbelief "Are there two?" She said "Yup!" My mouth dropped. I was in shock. It had always been my dream to have twins. Some of my best friends are twins and they run in my family. I just never imagined that it would actually happen. A few years earlier we had lost a baby girl and now God was giving us two!! I couldn't wait to tell my mom. Over the next several months my belly got huge! It was like two aliens wrestling in my stomach. October 3, 2009 at 37 weeks I had had enough! We finally had to go in and get them. Berkley Ann was first at 6lbs and 5oz. Bailee Mae followed and a whopping 7lbs and 5oz!! They are almost 6 months old now and we have been cherishing every minute!!
