Preterm labor in twin pregnancy

by Eve
(Wisconsin)

Was trying to read the page about preterm labor, and I couldn't see the part that said if you can make it to so many weeks the twin babies will not have so many problems. Can someone tell me how many weeks that said?

Weeks

Eve,
I'm not sure what that particular page said, but I know that after 36 weeks, it's pretty much smooth sailing.
28 weeks was the first HUGE milestone.
Then we were hoping for 32 weeks.
And my last goal was to make it to 34 weeks. (I eventually made it to 37 weeks. We were in the hospital- I had a c-section- for four days.) I would definitely recommend you get "You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads" by Dr. Barbara Luke. While I feel that the book does have a lot of scary information, it was incredibly helpful to me.
Good luck!
