Pretty Normal

I am 24 weeks with my frat. boys. I have had lower pelvic pain for quite awhile. It comes and goes with me. I find that if I move too fast or roll over too quickly it happens. What I do is if I am in bed I tuck my knees to my chest and roll over or hold your belly up and roll over. As for standing and the pain comes, massage the area and just take it easy. Rib pain...I HEAR YOU!!! It can get SO uncomfortable, sometimes you just want to cry! I find that if you raise your arm up over your head and take a deep breath and then lower your your arm with each exhale it will repostion the baby (most of the time). Keep good posture as well. But if it is persistant and doesn't seem to go away...go in to check for preeclampsia. I did and thankfully it came back negative (it's more of a late 3rd trimester problem) My diagnosis was acid reflux..so they put me on Pepcid. Not really sure if it is working yet. I was told this is just a pregnancy problem you have to live with. I hate it when they say that for EVERY issue you have. May just be my doc. When in doubt, have it checked out.

I'm now 23 weeks and for the past month I've been getting sharp pain in several different places around my stomach. Especially at night when I roll over. I've had 3 single pregnancies and this hasn't happened, but now it sounds that this may be a twin thing. Everything growning so fast?

That's so funny you just asked... I am 16 weeks pregnant with twins and last night I had that same sharp pain for the first time. It lasted about 15 minutes and it felt like what contractions might be like. I walked around and massaged it and it finally went away. I just figured it was an intense gas bubble... does anyone one know for sure?
