Pelvic pain during twin pregnancy

by Nichole
(Houston, TX)

I am pregnant with twin boys and since I was about 4 months pregnant I have been having this extreme heaviness in my pelvis. The pain is unbearable sometimes. I feel like I have 100 lbs sitting on my pelvis and it feels like it is about to break. My doctors keep telling me its normal and its just a part of a twin pregnancy. Does anyone else have these symptoms?

The good news is, as soon as you are recovering in the hospital you will notice it's gone! Even after the pain of the c-section it was nothing compared to that pelvic pain. You should be delivering soon, if you haven't already, look forward to the feeling being gone! Doctors are prepared to accept SDI requests from patients with twin pregnancy's. If you are unable to stand for work because of thepain, submit a claim, to be released from work early. They usually accpet requests after 30 weeks or so.

I had the same exact thing going on when i was pregnant with my boys. The pressure that i felt all the time was completely unbearable. I felt like the babies were just going to fall out if i stood up!
