I have been so blessed to share my twin journey with my husband. He is an amazing father and a very supportive spouse. When I found out we were expecting twins, I was nervous about how the stress would impact our relationship, and there have been times where the boys have no doubt created tension between us, but I have to say that there is just no way I could do this without him. We balance each other, it seems. Just when he is worn out and can't stand another tantrum, I get home and take over.

And like last night, when they wake up over & over & over, and I am exhausted outside my mind, he gets up and takes over the night shift. As scary as it is to start out caring for TWO right from the get-go, one of the best results of having twins, is that you need the father. From our boys first day on the planet (when one was in the NICU and the other in the room with me) we needed him. He got to be far more hands on than I believe he would have been if we had had a singleton.
