Our journey-baby twins

JOURNEY

JOURNEY

Our journey began many years before we were actually born. God placed a little seed in our Mommy and Daddy’s heart. That little seed kept growing every day because they believed in God’s promise. Hours became days, days became months, months became years yet no sign of us anywhere. Mommy and Daddy believed even though many people told them to give up on us. God was with them every step of the way and they knew we would come soon. They believed him and didn’t lose the faith. Mommy and Daddy never stopped praying for us. When times got tough Mommy would always read Psalms 7:4 “………And He shall give you the desires of your heart”. After years of waiting God placed some special people in their path. These special people, called Doctors, helped Mommy and Daddy. All Mommy needed was a little surgery.
Mommy and Daddy continued praying for God not to forget his promise….. and God didn’t. It was a beautiful day in September when God picked us and placed us in my Mommy’s womb. We were just little bubbles floating inside Mommy. When Mommy and Daddy found out about us they cried and thanked God for remembering them. As time passed by we kept growing and growing but something was wrong. Our Mommy kept getting sick and going to the hospital. We would hear Mommy and Daddy telling us to hold on tight and not let go of God’s hand. When we would get scared we would squeeze His hand and He would tell us everything would be fine. God told us everyone was praying for us and that He saw how much all our family loved us. Mommy would always recite the scripture “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” (Hebrew 11:1). This would keep her faith strong and continue believing in God’s promise. God helped the doctor’s find what was wrong and told Mommy she had to stay home and play with us all day while Daddy worked. We had so much fun playing inside Mommy’s tummy and sometimes that would make Mommy sick. We would hear everyone talking to us and saying they couldn’t wait to see us. Mommy would always tell us stories in the shower and at night Daddy would put his warm hand on Mommy’s tummy. We could hear them counting down the days till we were born and thanking God, He kept us safe. We don’t know why it took so long for us to be with Mommy and Daddy. It was all worth the long wait it just made everything better, like a sundae with a cherry on top. God told us we were hand picked by Him to make Mommy and Daddy happy. That He would always keep an eye on us and whenever we needed Him, to just call His name and He would be there. Our journey has just begun and we are thrilled to have been placed in such a loving family.
