Not in our wildest dreams did we expect twins...

Jan Calvin and Crystal Shane came to our life unexpected and shocking to better describe it. We already had 2 teenage girls & 2 young boys age 4 & 5 when my wife got pregnant. But this pregnancy was a bit different from the past as my wife said to me, somethings not right is her hunch at that time.

We went to her OB 3 months into her pregnancy and she told her doctor the odd feeling she's having about this pregnancy so she advised my wife to take an ultrasound test. And sure enough her hunch was proven right! Images from the ultrasound showed two separate fetus are forming...we're having twins! A first in our generation.

They came under ceasarian section December 5th 2008 and thank God they were healthy. After 3 days in the hospital, we all went home though we have to bring the twins back twice a day for a week in the hospital for blood infection treatment.

Now, they're 8 months old and we couldn't be happier. They're healthy and full of life. Yes, financially it's hard for us having 6 children but we managed to get by. And joy our twins brings to us makes it all worthwhile.
