Night wakings could be habit?

My 11 week old son wakes at the same time every night, despite what time we put him to bed. We usually put him down around 8-9pm, he sleeps until 12:45 on the dot and we feed him, then he is back up at 4:30am to eat. I would love to see that 12:45am feed go away (his twin sister doesn't wake up for a feeding at that time, she goes until 3am or so) but I'm not sure if its a habit that we can break or if he really needs to eat that much in the night. Any suggestions?! Thanks!

He is a growing newborn....
by: Anonymous

Yes its normal. He is a growing newborn that is hungry. Newborns usually dont start sleeping through the night until 3-4 months of age and even then they may wake up during the night.

We as mothers OR fathers must sacrifice our sleep to our growing newborns. They must eat too! So dont get upset when he wakes up during the night...feed him and place him back in the crib until he gets hungry again.
