Little Angels

My twins were born seven and a half weeks early. Alana and Lilah are there names. It was a rough twin pregnancy, one baby was smaller than the other one by a lot. The whole time I was told that there would be something wrong with the smaller one. It was very scary and stressful. One twin was born 4lbs 2oz and the other one was 1Lb 12.5oz. They were in the hospital for 5 weeks and 7 weeks. They are both perfect and healthy!!!

They are now 5 months and perfect as ever! I couldn''t be a prouder mommy. I am a stay at home mom and boy do I have my work cut out for me. Plus having three dogs doesn't make it any easier. They are a full time job. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Alana is now about 15 lbs and the Lilah is about 9 lbs. I love when they do something new for the first time it always seems to bring tears to my eyes. Like today the Alana held the bottle for the first time, i thought it was the greatest thing ever. I had to call my husband right away and tell him. It is the little things that make you smile!!

Congratulations!! My first twin pregnancy was similar and we knew at ten weeks that their sizes were off. Born at 30 weeks, Duncan was 2.2lbs as Quinn was 3lb14oz. You are definately blessed. We lost our littlest one after 16days. They said that his because of compromised situation in utero (bad placental function), that he developed a heart defect.

It is warming to know that you feel blessed, proud and happy! BE CAREAFUL going back again, as I got twins again after that pregnancy :)

Congrats on your lil ones!! That is a size difference! I couldnt imagine a baby so small, altho i know it happens everyday! Even with her size she seems such a fighter with a failry short stay in the hospital!! SO glad they are doing well now!
