My Beautiful Identical Twin Daughters
by Rachel Reynard
My beautiful twin baby girls!
My identical twin daughters are MY LIFE!! What a shock it was to find out I was having twins as they don't run in either of our families! I absolutely love them, I don't remember my life before them. I had a c-section at 38 1/2 weeks. My baby A (which ended up being my baby B at the last second) was breech, so I didn't have a choice but to have a c-section. The girls were born at 9:21am and 9:22am on Saturday September 12, 2009. They are so alike, yet so different. I love my life, with my twin daughters! I wouldn't have it any other way!! My fiancee is a wonderful man, he stepped up and jumped right in while we were in the hospital. He stayed every night (I was there for 5 days, 4 nights) and he was there every step of the way. He was in the delivery room as well. He hadn't held a baby in 10+ years, so he was so very nervous the first time holding both of our daughters. But he was a natural!! And to this day, he's the most amazing Father to our daughters. My 1st baby - Natalee, had a little trouble when she was born. The cord was wrapped around her neck so we didn't get to see her right away. As soon as she cried, I was relieved. It seemed like it was the longest few minutes of my life, waiting to hear her cry. Madelyn was born second, one minute after Natalee. She cried instantly, it was the most amazing sound to hear both of MY daughters crying in the delivery room. Both the girls are absolutely amazing little girls, we got extremely lucky. They barely cry and they are VERY good eaters. We look forward to all the adventures we will have with our wonderful twin daughters!
