my 3 month old twin boys in their bumbos!

After much deliberation my husband and I decided to have a baby! My implant came out and I got pregnant straight away. I went for what I thought was my 12 week scan only to find i was 8 weeks pregnant with twins!! i guess it was just meant to be! I loved pretty much every second of my twin pregnancy, I had no morning sickness and managed to sleep well. My husband, not so much!!! I was induced at 38 weeks but a natural labour was not to be as after an hour of pushing and a few dramas along the way, Lucas got stuck and I ended up with a C section.

Lucas Keith was born first at 3.31am on tuesday 23rd feb 2010 weighing in at 6lb 7 and Nathan Robert was born one minute later weighing in at 6lb. they were the most gorgeous little things i have ever seen and have enjoyed every minute! Having twins really is the best ever. 2 beautiful smiles every morning! I am an avid fan of Gina Ford and she really did help us get into a lovely routine. We have never followed it to the letter as we feel you need to listen to your babies needs to but our boys have been sleeping through since they were 2 1/2 months old! they go down at 6.30 and i dont here a peep till they wake me up chatting at 7am!! (apart from dream feed at 10pm) lucky mummy and daddy!! my little boys are now nearly 5 months old and i am looking forward to the next stage which is baby led weaning!! this picture was taken when the boys were 4 months old and it makes me giggle every time i see it!!
