Miscarriage in twin pregnancy

by Fatema
(Leicester)

Hello there , I am 19 weeks pregnant with identical twins, but when I came in for my weekly scan yesterday, they found one had died, then after a internal check cause if me having pinkish discharge ,
They then found that my water had broke and they could see baby hair.... So they sent me straight to the labour and delivery ward , I have been getting tightening of my stomach and feeling very uncomfortable , the FICA have said it very unlikely that the other baby will survive as they share the placenta and are in one sack just being held seperate by the membrane.........it been over 24 hrs nothing has changed in my pain bit this morning did get bloodish discharge ...... What I want to know is do I stand a chance for one of my twin babies to survive ..... Please help me thank you

I am not sure on the survival rate of your second twin, but I want you to know I said a prayer for you and your family. I hope all is well for your remaining twin and it hands on for you.
