Is there still time for Baby A to turn head down?

by Melissa
(Annapolis, MD)

I am 31 weeks and baby A is still breech. I really want to have a natural birth but the doctors think time is running out for the baby to turn. Does anyone have any stories of babies turning this late in twin pregnancy?

I'll send this question out to our readers! But yes - there is absolutely still hope that Baby A will turn at 31 weeks. I remember reading somewhere too that if you shine a flashlight on your lower belly that the baby will naturally gravitate downwards. I don't have personal experience with that but it couldn't hurt to try. If I find out more information I will add on to this - hopefully one of our readers can help!
Good Luck !
Kim

Still Time

Trust me, there is still time. And doctor's don't always know everything. Don't fret just yet. By the way... just because one baby is breech doesn't mean you can't have a vaginal delivery. Good luck!

Yes, I agree, I have heard the flashlight thing too! i also heard that you should put your headphones down low and tap/massage your belly low so they will gravitate to the sounds of the music! I am 30 wks, A is down,Baby B is all over the place--I'm not sure what my dr's protocol is so I'm hoping they'll both be head down so there won't be any question--good luck, you'll have to update if/when Baby A turns!
