Identical Twin Cuties!

These are my 2 month old Identical twin girls Raegyn and Rylee.

They were born Dec. 5th, 2008 by C-Section. Raegyn weighed 7lbs 3oz and Rylee weighed 6lbs 6oz. I went to 38 1/2 weeks and was a large as a house. When I went into my doctor at 8 weeks I was a bit suprised when he said during the ultrasound I was pregnant with twins and they were identical, when he sat me up I asked for the trash can so I could be sick.

We have two other children (13 yr old boy, Tanner and a 3 1/2 yr old girl, Payton). Once the shock finally set in we were excited and started buying two of everything and stocking up on diapers and wet wipes. My twin pregnancy went VERY well. At 35 weeks, since all was well, my doctor said we were going to carry on. At 38 weeks I finally told him I had had enough. I was HUGE, tired, couldn't sleep, was buying stock in TUMS, I didn't have ankles anymore (they looked like elephant ankles. If elephants even have ankles), and the babies had enough of kung-fu fighting for space.

My C-Section went great and the babies were healthy. Our family was complete and we are looking forward to watching them grow. My husband is a bit worried though.... that they will play the switch-a-roo on us later down the road.
