I am a twin and I have a life long question

I am a middle aged female and have a fraternal twin sister. It is obvious to me we are fraternal twins as we have a different weight and body shape. Her good weight is much higher than mine. She has no wisdom teeth like our father and I have two. But we look so alike people can't tell us apart in spite of our different weights.Our height hair ,eye color, shoe size is almost identical. We even started our cycles within one week of each other. I heard many years ago there was a third type of twin that described us. Can you tell me how I could find out about this kind of zygosity.

Fraternal twins can look almost as alike as Identicals. The Olsen twins (Mary Kate and Ashely) are fraternal.

Thank you for replying. let me explain further. If you examine closely; she has a flat bottom and very large bust. I am the opposite. Her mouth and ears are more like dads. my body shape is like the other side of the family. but at first glance we look identical, that is what has made us so curios ??? I thought the fact she has no wisdom teeth and I have two confirmed we are fraternal, but can fraternal twins look so alike. thanks. Clare

Zygotsy test

You can always go and have a Zygotsy (DNA) test done. I even think they sell them online.

Even though you and your sister are different weight and body shape, doesnt mean you are not identical twins. Identical twins just mean you share the same DNA (meaning you will have the same hair color, eye color, height, shoe size, etc). It wont ever mean that your sister, for example, eats more than you do and doesnt exercise therefore whe will weigh more than you do. Even though Identicals share the same DNA, they are their OWN person and will almost always have different personalities and lifestyle.
