How soon do you show when you're pregnant with twins?

Twins run in my family.I believe that I'm 5 wks 5 days along. Would I be showing already if it's twins?

No, you would not be showing if you are only 5 weeks pregnant. I didnt show with a singleton pregnancy at 5 weeks nor did I show at 5 weeks with our twins. I really didnt start showing with our twins until around 10-12 weeks even then it just looked like I ate too much.

Showing has a lot to do with how many pregnancies, how tight of muscle tone and many other things. At 16-20 weeks you could barely tell I was pregnant. Around 22 weeks I boomed out. I did start wearing maternity bottoms around 10 weeks, because where my uterus was, was extra "swollen" as I thought.
