How does a twin baby registry work?

by Eve
(Wisconsin)

I just recently went to a store and got on the baby registry, and 1 of the items i wanted, said it has been purchased already and I didn't buy it. Does anyone know how the baby registry works? Also I was wondering will I need special nipples for my twin babies when they r born?

For it to say one has been bought it had to have been bought for you already. Did it say it the day you were making the registry or a few days later? If it was the day you were making the registry then there was a problem. No you do not need a special nipple for twins unless they are born with a feeding issue. I like the playtex drop in nursers myself. I use them because they reduce gas build up becasue they collapse and you don't need a whole lot of bottles, I bought 12. I also is nice when you are out because you throw the liner out and put a new one in and have a clean bottle. I did buy,4 extra nipples for outtings to have clean nipples to put on the bottle for the next feeding.
