How do you know your pregnant with twins? My babyfather mom is a twin and his mom had twins girls what are our chances of twins.

The reason it only matters if there are twins on the mothers side is because;
The genetic part that is passed down are the release of multiple eggs. Instead of one egg, two are fertilized.
My step sisters father is a twin, But both of them have not yet had twins.

Agree with Shelley, only on the mothers side is it possible for you to have twins.

You will need to have an ultrasound done when you find out you are pregnant. The ultrasound will tell you if you are having a singleton or a twin pregnacy.

The father of twins has no impact on your chances of twins. Only the mother has an influence on twins.

Your chances are probably pretty good to have twins. When you get a ultrasound that will show you we found out we're having twins at aprox. 7 weeks. And we are now 24 weeks and also found out we're having idetical twin girls. If you have twins you will have many ultrasounds. We do. Good luck with everything! Try to rest to.
