I just found out I'm having twins and I just had a baby 5 months ago! How do I deal with two newborns and a one year old.

Crazy but worth it
by: Java

I am 14 wks pregnant and have a 7month son. I too fell pg on the pill. I have come to accept the decree of GOD but it was hard. Having twins will be the biggest challenge ever but it's one that I need to embrace. I look at it this way I get two for the hardship of one pregnancy. Problem with me is I am a teacher going back to work in September only to take maternity in march. Very nervous what the school will think especially when they went to a lot of trouble accommodating me a part time post. No doubt the head teacher wont be pleased.

Me too

Let mr tell
you how happy I am that icame across this question. I found out today that I am expecting twins. My daughter is just four months old. I am about a month along with this pregnancy. This was far from being planned (got pg while on the pill). I feel like a deer caught in the head lights. I am scared, nervous, and still in major shock. I worry about neglecting my daughter. I love her so much and don't want that. It's nice to know someone is going through the same thing.

by: Sharon Stratton

i know your probably feaking out, i did for my entire pregancy, i had 3 babies in 2008, twins sam & riley in January then Casey in December, and boy was i freaking out, EVERYTHING seemed impossible while i was pregnant and it will be really hard being pregnant with the twins and caring for a baby too, but it WILL get better i can remember being up at 4am feeding the twins and having morning sickness kick in it happend for about 5 weeks and i just cried :( so many things i had to let go but it was only for a short while, in 3 years the physical labour will be cut in half and whats 3 years out of a lifetime? in the meantime you have this site, its great, be sure to add me as a friend so we can keep in touch :0) chin up you will be fine xxx

I know how easy it can be to think of the challenges you will face...but think of the joys as well! I am 18 weeks pregnant with twins and I have an almost 9 month old. He will be 13 months when the twins are born. My husband is in the military and will be away quite a bit, so I am filled with fear as well. God obviously thinks you are a great mommy and can handle this adventure. Hang in there!

God Knows
by: Natasha

It may seem IMPOSSIBLE to do, and at times it may FEEL impossible, but God knows what you can handle. You will get through with lots of help and support from friends and family. I think the hardest part is asking for help. But with twins you need it, and a 12 monthish old you will really need it. It will be even harder if they are in the NICU from being born early, so rest and relax as much as you can. Enjoy!
