Giving each twin enough time - help!

Want to hold both my babies at same time!! = GUILT.I feel horrible not being able to hold my twin babies at the same time. It's just impossible. How do I get over this mommy guilt?

It's so funny that you should say that because I have been feeling the exact same way! I just had a crying session as a matter of fact because I'm completely exhausted between taking care of two babies, driving an hour both ways to work, working on my feet all day, and keeping the house somewhat livable. I would love to send the girls to my parents for a night so that I could get some rest, but then again after work and daycare, we only get to see them awake for about 2 hours a day! So it's like a double edged sword...so glad that I'm not the only one in this boat!

Holding both twins

My twins are 19 months old, and I can tell you I also could not manage to hold them at the same time (even when they were very small). You just need to give yourself some slack. You are one mommy with two babies. It is a huge job raising them. Rather pat yourself on the back for doing the best you can. U used to rock the one with my foot in the snug and safe, while holding the other one. Next time you swop them...

wish i knew!

gosh, i wish i knew! i've got a three year old and twinfants and none of them have enough mommy time! i just try to hold whoever is awake if the other two are sleeping. if none are sleeping, i hold whoever is crying the most. i guess that's the best i've got, but i feel exactly the same way as you!
