Ellie & Emma.. Our beautiful twin girls

We have Identical twin girls. We were very happy to find out we were pregnant with our 'second' child in October and continued on with the pregnancy until the 20 week ultrasound thinking we were only having ONE baby. Needless to say when the sonographer announced it was twins we were in shock!

Once the initial shock wore off we were ecstatic!!! I had wanted to have a little girl as we already had a 3 year old boy at home and now I was have TWO!!! The shopping began and we starting preparing knowing that we didn't have a great deal of time as we were told that twins usually come early. We had a problem free twin pregnancy, the only complaint being the pain in my hips - aside from that I was able to totally enjoy my pregnancy. I had them at 36 weeks, perfectly healthy. They were born on May 24. Emma, baby A, was 5lbs 13oz. Ellie, baby B, was 6lbs 1oz. We couldn't be happier with our girls and they are beautiful, happy babies! We have all adjusted so well and couldn't imagine life any other way.....

First your girls are beautiful. I could have written this post all except I had twin boys instead of girls. I also found out at 20 weeks, we have a three year old boy and the boys came at 36 weeks weighing the exact same. All I can say is wow!

This is a beautiful picture!!! Congratulations on your twin girls. I am pregnant with twin boys due the end of April and I'm praying my pregnancy goes as smoothly as yours. So far like you all I've had to deal with is the painful hips and sciatic pain too but as long as they get here healthy I'll deal with the pain!
