Thank You!!! NEW
by: nessa

Thank you for your bravery with your photo. I was just on another site looking at photos of post baby bellies as I have 4 kids, 4, 2 year old twins and a 6 month old baby and I HATE my belly. I was looking for some reassurance it wasn't just me and women on the other site who were complaining looked like supermodels and their tummys look fabulous so I felt so bad and then saw your site and have read all the comments and feel much better. Thanks to all of you for your honesty!!!!

Apron
by: Anonymous

I have twin boys that are three weeks old. I can deal with the stretch marks. It's the apron I am having a hard time dealing with. I'm afraid it's never going to go away.

My Post twin belly
by: Pari

I commend you dear lady for posting your badge of honor. I too have twins, they were 7lbs 12oz, and 6lbs even (vaginal births), so believe me when I say I understand. My twins are now 13 years old and so I'm speaking from experience when I tell you these three things:

1. There is no cure for stretch marks. All those cures you see might help diminish/fade the marks 'some' but what they don't tell you is that you have to continue the regime for the rest of your life. Also it will only fade them (if at all) very, VERY slightly. So I have never bother with them, because I have no desired making a life commitment with little to no reward for it.

2. Time truly is the heal of all things. I'm serious my stretch marks have faded so much you'd have to be really be staring hard to notice them, and they were deeper ribbon cuts and discoloration than what you see above, because I am a black woman and mine were quite dark.

3. Drink water, drink water, drink water!! Most of the human body is made up of water, our cells consisting of 65-90% water by weight. So it's not hard to grasp that water is the elixir to whatever is ailing the body. I try to drink nothing but water and several glasses daily.

Ladies please don't ever feel or allow anyone to make you believe that your stretch marks are something to be ashamed of. We 'all' have them, they maybe more noticeable on some of us sure, but we all have then thanks to puberty. Embrace them. If you know you look good and you carry yourself like you believe you look good, you will look good, it will show.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE
by: Anonymous

I am so glad someone without a perfect belly is posting their pic. My stomach looks very similar to this and I have a 6 year old, 4 year old, and 7 month twins. I am just starting to workout and using shea butter and olive oil twice daily for the stretch marks. You are not alone. There are people who never had twins whose stomachs look much worse. Give yourself some time to bounce back. I keep reminding myself that his time last year I was pregnant so I have to be patient.

Strivectin is great!
by: Anonymous

Don't worry... There are many of us out there. Posting this is a great start. We are very hard on ourselves and competing with other girls begins in preschool. Very sad. Women need to build each other up and everybody should be pleased with offering their support.
Strivectin helped mine. They didn't go away but faded and became less angry looking. I miss my bikini too.
I didn't have twins but I had a superbaby. She was 10lbs 5oz. Everybody kept asking me if I was having twins. That was a great confidence booster :-(
On time, in a shop, a sales lady asked me when the 'babies' were due... I looked at her with a horrified expression and said 'Im not pregnant!' the look on her face was priceless! Sheer horror. She left us alone after that... My husband had trouble controlling his laughter!
Chin up everyone! We are beautiful! It is hard to remember but our bellies don't make us who we are.

Fix
by: Anonymous

Hi Ladies,
If you 're having problems with stretch marks, you'll want to look into MEDICAL ROLLING. It really and honestly works.
A Dr rolls a roller with needles over the problem area. They can put some topical numbing product on, but it's really not that sore.
Medical rolling can be done for all kinds of skin problems- aging, scarring, stretch marks. The depth of the needles depends on what it treats. I had it done and it's fabulous!
It breaks up the tissue and helps stimulate the collagen.
The proper name for this technique is "medical needling". There are not many dr's who do it, but the ones I've found work in Medical Spas/ Plastic Surgery clinics.

Go Momma!
by: Katie - Maryland

Thanks for posting! I was sitting here feeling pretty sorry for myself tonight. I have for kids, ages 7, 5 and 3 year-old twins. For some reason I think I am the only one in the world with a belly that's not the prettiest to look at. I also have that apron look and even though my stretch marks have long faded to silver and am back at my pre-pg weight I have a lot of loose and saggy skin. Thanks for putting a smile back on my face :)

My belly is the same way as yours is something that we can't do is something that happens just because we had two babies in our belly for nine months.

oh wow
by: Anonymous

wow.More power to you. I could never do this. I am in my young 20's and will never show my belly again because of how bad my stretch marks are. The worst part is my 2 other friends who have kids too still look gorgeous in a bikini. It's nice to know that I'm not alone, especially with all these celebrities having kids and 3 months later in a bikini on a cover of a magazine. I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who got them as bad as a did. This is definitely reassuring. thanks

Hope I help.
by: Nathaly

For us moms that their tummies look like this, mine was not as bad but I used this cream called "Strivectin" and it helped soooooo much!!! Try it!! It originally costs about $140 but I got it for about half of the price on Ebay.com. Give it a try!! My stretch marks got lighter, and they're less noticeable.

by: Kristin

I have twin girls, I went from 102 lbs to 183- it was aweful and my belly looks just like that only slightly more saggy :( I hate it, but to be honest looking at yours I don't think it looks so bad, I guess if it's not you it's easier to see the bright side!

dont worry, my belly is worse.
by: Anonymous

I have twin boys and my belly is FAR WORSE than yours. It doesnt have stretch marks but it has a TON of wrinkles, almost as if i had gastric bypass instead of a twin pregnancy.

I was 109 lbs pre-preg and i gained 50 lbs during my pregnancy! My boys were *almost* seven lbs each at full-term birth.

Same belly as yours!
by: Anonymous

My stomach looks just like yours...
I know I know.. our babies are beautiful but I feel so young to have a belly like this forever!
I don't think I can do surgery. I was talking to some moms and one of them shared a story about a twin mom who went in to get a tummy tuck and died the next day from a blood clot. Her twins were second graders and her oldest was a 4th grader. Just not worth it!
We are so lucky.. so what if we have stretch marks right?
ha ha ha

I know this too well. This is exactly what my belly looks like after my boys. It is so hard to scratch your belly because you feel like you could snag it! lol
