Baby A and Baby B

At our 20 week visit, my husband and I were informed at our first ultrasound, that we were having twin girls! 12 weeks later my water broke @ 5am and they were both delivered @ 7:37am by emergency c-section.

My twin girls were born @ 32 weeks. Baby A - Avery, was 4 lbs. 1 oz. and Baby B - Brooklyn, was 4 lbs. 14 oz. Brooklyn's lungs were not developed and she had to have surfactant and oxygen with pressure. They both had to be taught to eat. After 18 days in the NICU, they were sent home!

The next few months are all a blur - feedings, changings, doctors visits, casts on Avery's legs due to the limited amount of room in my abdomen. I was back to work 9 weeks later. It was hard, but I knew they were in good hands.

Anyway, here are my girls at about 6 months. Growing like weeds!!!!!!!!!
