annoying twin question-Same Father???


I was shopping one day when the babies were about 5 months old..."are they twins?" the lady asked.
ME: yes, a boy/girl.
Lady: Do they have the same father?" (huh??? a bit personal don't you think?..
Me: yes they have the same father
Lady: Are you SURE?? They look nothing alike for twins.

I have had that question several times. Although mine are AA and my husband and I are white so they look nothing like us and people assume some pretty crazy things about our twins!
