My twin girls are miracle babies! I am 25 years old and I have been through a lot of medical stuff when I was little so I wasn't even supposed to be able to have kids at all and I had actually broken my toe and went to get an xray and that is when I found out I was pregnant with twins which was an even bigger shock since they don't run in me or the dads family at all. I didn't believe them I thought it was to good to be true so I took the test 3 more times just to make sure. lol

Well anyways it was a high risk pregnancy because of my past medical history...I ended up going into premature labor when I was 30 weeks along and was in active labor in the hospital dilated to a 4 for a week then they decided to finally come I was 3 days shy of 31 weeks. They were only 3 1/2 lbs when they were born on October 25, 2009. it was the best day of my life when i first saw my baby girls! They had to be rushed to the nicu because of how earlier and how small they were and we were in the nicu for six weeks. They gave me quite a few scares during that time.

Then on December 1, 2009 I got to take them home and they were having some apnea episodes and they would stop breathing so they had to be put on monitors. well anyways they are 4 months old now, off their monitors, and gaining weight great! they are both 13lbs now and trying to crawl! I am so blessed and lucky that they are doing as good as they are and they truly are my little miracles!!!

Hi, I just did a search for lani and lexi and saw that there are two other sisters with the same names as my girls! although mine are Ilania and Alexia :o) Yours are gorgeous x
