Babies... or a basketball??

37.5 weeks pregnant with twins, 10 days before I gave birth to them. This is the evening that I went out for dinner to a restaurant with friends and vowed NOT to go out again until I had had the babies. People were staring and pointing and gasping as they gaped at my belly!!!

Congratulations on your twins! I remember just before I had my boys I had felt so huge but also really proud! Here I was carrying two babies - superwomb! After I thought that I no longer cared how often people stared.

Oh, you shouldn't be ashamed! You look great, and if the people who gawked at you didn't see that, they're just silly.

I see why you'd attract attention, though, when wherever you go, your tummy gets there first! Those twins were pushing your belly way out there. Did it feel okay carrying them that way? I bet it was hard to sit at tables!
