33 Weeks with Surrogate Twins

Here I am at 33 weeks, carrying surrogate fraternal twin girls! The girls were born on June 12 at 36 weeks gestation. They weighed 5 lbs 10 oz and 5 lbs 9 oz. They spent 1 week in the NICU for Jaundice and lazy eating habits, but are now home with their doting parents and doing very well. And I feel a ton lighter, having lost all the weight (about 30 pounds) from this pregnancy already. Whew!!

What a beautiful gift! You are an angel for being willing to do this. I am pregnant with my third child due in Oct. We have a son and daughter and are expecting another boy. I took fertility drugs to conceive all three. This little one took us nearly seven years to conceive. You are a treasure for doing what you did.
