by Tracy
(Pine Grove, PA)

Help. My 13 month old twins (boy/girl) do not want to share and it seems that my boy takes the toys away from his twin sister most of the time which has started her pulling his hair whenever he comes near her because she thinks he is going to take her toy--- ugghhhh! any advice of getting them through this so they can play nice together -. right now they just don't understand the concept of sharing but I'm still asking them to share with each other-- help

I have also been looking on this topic as i have 12 month old boy/girl twins and am having the same problem, with my son taking toys if his sister, but seeming as though he is not doing it to upset her, but she is now getting angry whenever he comes near her, and she is now biting him at any chance she gets which im hoping is just a phase. she will now ever hand him something he will take it and then she will scream, if anyone has any suggestions please comment

I have 14 month old twin girls doing the same thing. Its getting really bad!Reading your little story was like reading about my twins.lol They even fight about who gets to sit in mommys lap.....i usually take the toy that they are fighting over away, tell them both very firmly "no-no" amd most of the time that works after a few minutes of whining, they go to playing with something else....I have a feeling it only gets worse with age though!

I am with you all the way! I have 12 month old boy/girl twins and they fight all the time about toys. I have started removing the toy from the fight, hair pulling involved or I just let them fight it out. It all depends on my mood. Sorry for not being much help but, I hope it helps knowing you are not alone.
